5G Spectrum Auction Enters Day 7: Jio, Airtel Locked in Bidding for Spectrum in UP East Circle

The ongoing 5G spectrum auction in India has seen telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, Adani bid over Rs. 1.50 lakh crore while the battle for spectrum in UP East appears to be cooling off, in what might be a sign that the auction may be entering its final leg. In all, 72 GHz of radiowaves worth at least Rs. 4.3 lakh crore is on the block.
