WhatsApp Said to Be Working on Password-Protected, Encrypted Chat Backups for Google Drive and iCloud

WhatsApp is said to have password-protected, encrypted chat backups in the works. The new update would allow users to keep the Google Drive or iCloud backups of their chats and media files protected from unauthorised access by using a password.
