Google Undertaking Over Fitbit Competition Concerns Rejected by Australian Antitrust Regulator
Google’s offer of an undertaking that it would behave in certain ways toward rivals, not use health data for advertising and, in some cases, allow competing businesses access to health and fitness data after its planned $2.1 billion (roughly Rs. 15,400 crores) acquisition of Fitbit, has been rejected by Australian antitrust regulator.
