PS4 Controllers Will Work on the PS5, but Only With PS4 Games

The official PS4 controller — the DualShock 4 — won’t work with PS5 games, Sony has announced. Instead, the DualShock 4 will work on the PS5 with “supported PS4 games”. Meanwhile, all official Xbox One controllers will work on the Xbox Series X.
