Microsoft to Phase Out Internet Explorer 11, Legacy Edge in 2021

Microsoft has outlined a plan to phase out Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) and the legacy Edge version. The new development by Microsoft comes just seven months after it released the Edge browser based on Chromium for all supported versions of Windows and macOS.
